After receiving our first hive of 30,000 European Dark Bees from the Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association in May, the industrious bees have already created nine full frames of honey. The honey is now being harvested and will be ready for sale later this month, with all proceeds going to charity. The Gelder Group’s Environmental Officer, Simon Blaydes, commented:

I couldn’t believe how much each frame weighed, 2lb a frame. Jason (Bee Keeper from Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association) let me try the honey; needless to say, without question it was the best Honey I have ever tasted.

More details of when the jars will be ready will follow. If you cannot wait and want to place an early order, please contact us.
