Royal Visitors to Lake
The Group?s one acre lake to the rear of its Head Office was host to royal visitors with the arrival of eight swans, which included two signets. The lake forms part of a twelve acre environmental project and will be home to over 1,000 trees, shrubs and about half an acre of reed beds. River Cottage Welcomes New Arrivals
In November of last year the Group announced it had purchased River Cottage, a farm house adjacent to the Head Office. Following the footsteps of the more renowned ?River Cottage? made famous by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall the Group has purchased three female pigs. Great Start to the New Year for Major Contracts Division
The Gelder Group?s Major Contracts Division saw a terrific start to 2008. The Division was awarded a ?3.1 million, 52 week contract by Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop. This project will involve the construction of a kitchen and dining room extension.
